Spring is here!! Yay!

Life has just gotten more interesting recently.

Spring break has started and all of a sudden, the activites started to pile up and I'm on an adventure high! Whoo-hoo!! I'm so glad that my days of hibernating are over! Well.. sort of. *grin* The weather has become better now, which means less snow! YAY! Spring is coming!!!

Starting this weekend, I'll be going for a short trip, and having a mini "camping" session at a friend's place! (High-five, brussel sprouts!) We'll be cooking up a storm (literally!), have a mini movie night, talk till the wee hours and I anticipate having a fun, fun time! Can't wait!

There are so many things to do now... lots of things for me to take care of... I think I have to stop being such a grouch. Really. I'm just like Oscar the Grouch in Sesame St... Or Grumpy Bear from CareBears! Oh yes, and I really should start putting up some of the pictures I've scanned... I especially wanted to share those pictures I've taken in New Orleans with everyone. They are a reminder of a place that was once bursting with music and life.. there was so much going on in New Orleans before Hurricane Katrina struck. I don't really know how New Orleans looks like now, but I truly hope the city will be rebuilt soon, and everyone there will have their homes back.

It just occurred to me too that I haven't shared any literary piece of work with you for a long time. I should really start doing that soon.. I love lit and it brings me joy to be able to share a good piece of prose/poetry or any form of work, with others. Alright, it's a promise then! Stay tuned and I'll make sure I find something good to share with you soon. =))

"Smile! You're on candid camera!"

Hello! I was just thinking.. I've mentioned in my previous post that my readers are all a faceless bunch of people? Actually, there's a way for me to know who my readers are... no, by this I don't mean that I know how to hack or track you down, but there are certain things I can find out like a summary of how many people have visited this blog, the location they're from and where they were referred from..etc That's the beauty of technology.. so instead of being categorized in one group as the faceless and anonymous readers, there is kinda an identity attached to you now that is based on your location. It's really cool sometimes... there are people visiting my blog from somewhere as exotic as Ecuador (hi!!) to Pennsylvania (Stop.) to Singapore (double hi!! -waves-)

Really makes you wonder who's reading your blog now, doesn't it? Seriously, it makes you consider what you're writing... you wouldn't want to reveal too much to say, someone you're admiring or a deep, hated arch enemy now, would you?

All you silent leechers, `fess up and say "Hi" now! =p

24- The Best TV Series Ever!!!

I swear man, 24 is the BEST TV show ever! It used to be Lost until ABC network pissed me off with all the stupid repeat telecasts. Can't help feeling short-changed when I've always tried to catch Lost faithfully every Wednesday, only to find that it's a repeat! I just cannot stop raving about 24 right now!! Today's 2-hr special was totally mind-blowing! I don't know how the script-writers managed to do it... I was literally sitting at the edge of the seat, and I was totally engrossed in the show.

As usual, Jack Bauer is trying to save the world and the bad guys want him dead. The show has stuck to its recipe of suspense, excitement, mystery and family to keep viewers glued to their TV sets for 5 consequetive seasons. Viewers are kept guessing all the time; who's the bad guy? what's gonna happen next? who's the mole in the agency? Just when you think you've found the mole or missing piece in the jigsaw puzzle, something drastic will happen like someone getting kidnapped, killed or something.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!

Today's episode was SOOOO good that I was even willing to give up my regular bowling game to stay home and watch it. I wish the 2 hrs special would become a norm instead... 1 hr is simply not enough! Agree, 24 fans? Hehe.. Oh man... today's episode was so incredible (Kim Bauer is back! Someone died! Hightened emergency/risk level!!) and the ending was so touching that I actually shed a tear or two.

March 20th will be the start of Prisonbreak as well (!!!)... a back-to-back of two of my favorite TV shows!! I'm sooo excited!! I'm gonna miss catching all these sitcoms when I'm back in Singapore... damn. I'm going to have to watch insufferable TV shows then, and catch delayed broadcast of sitcoms. URGH!
